I believe every woman knows what I'm talking about when I say that hair loss, thin ends, and simply the feeling that your hair isn't doing what you want it to can be a huge burden. This is exactly where I was about three months ago: My hair felt lifeless, hair loss in the shower became more and more visible, and photos mercilessly showed me that my once thick mane was unfortunately becoming thinner and losing its shine compared to my younger years…
So I decided to change something, and that's where the Glow hair vitamins came in. Unfortunately, they were out of stock for a very long time, so I had to wait a bit until production was finally finished and they were available again in our shop.
Like all our products, the formula is vegan, with essential vitamins, minerals, and plant extracts. Since I am naturally more than thrilled with our products, I wanted to put an end to my hair woes and decided to test N°21 GLOW.
Today, three months later, I want to openly share my experiences with you: What worked? What didn't? And most importantly: Would I recommend the Glow vitamins?

Back to the beginning: Why I tried the hair vitamins
You need to know this much: I was never the type of person to follow every trend in the supplement niche, but the change in my hair structure became more and more apparent over the past year, especially on stressful days. More hair in the brush, thinner strands, and hardly any volume at the roots. In the long run, this is really draining, especially since I can't just "avoid" stress. So it was clear to me: I have to change something before it gets even worse.
At the same time, I didn't want to try chemical products or extreme treatments, of which there are countless in retail. Shampoos for brittle hair, numerous anti-hair loss treatments, and other dubious products were out of the question for me. A natural supplement with vitamins and minerals therefore seemed sensible to me. I saw the Glow vitamins as a kind of "gentle support" for my small hair problem - naturally complementing my healthy diet.
With a mix of hope and skepticism, I started my 3-month test with the Glow capsules.
What's in N°21 GLOW
Before I take a product, I logically always look at the ingredients. Since I know and love our products, I was naturally positively surprised here too. Without getting too technical, here's a rough overview for you:

- Biotin (Vitamin B7) – considered a classic for healthy hair growth
- Zinc & Selenium – important for normal hair follicles
- Copper – supports normal pigmentation
- Vitamin C from natural Camu-Camu extract
- Bamboo shoot extract – natural silicic acid for stronger hair
- Millet extract – traditional remedy for strengthening hair roots
-
MSM (organic sulfur) – building block for keratin
In addition, there are vegetable capsule shells and the product is vegan and formulated without unnecessary additives.
The recommendation is: 2 capsules daily, preferably with plenty of water.
Sounds quite promising, doesn't it? ;)
Honest insight: My starting point
As already mentioned, my hair became increasingly porous, brittle, dull, and above all, thinner over the years. While one can overlook the rest, the hair loss particularly bothered me.
So that you can imagine the impact the capsules had on my hair health, here is a brief description of my initial situation:
- Hair loss: Slightly increased, especially when showering
- Hair structure: Fine, quickly greasy, dry lengths, split ends
- Hair length: Approximately chest height
- Scalp: Temporarily sensitive, especially in winter due to dry heating air
- Everyday life: A lot of stress and little sleep. I know, definitely not an ideal condition for beautiful hair…
It is important to mention that I did not fundamentally change anything during the test: same diet, same hair care routine, same products. This way, I could be sure that possible changes were not caused by something else.
I meticulously documented the self-test and took notes every month to ensure that I could share ALL information with you and that no details were omitted. Of course, I also knew that I was not taking a "miracle cure", which is why I let the experiment run for 3 months to give it more time.
In this sense, I wish you a lot of fun reading and trying it out!
Month 1: Small changes & initial doubts
At the beginning, like with self-tests in general, I was full of motivation and took the capsules every morning with a large glass of water. They are relatively easy to swallow, which was a big plus for me as someone who dislikes swallowing capsules.
However, for the first two weeks, honestly, nothing happened. At least, nothing I immediately noticed. My hair looked the same as always, and hair loss was unchanged. My first thought was: Oh no, I had put all my hope into this, and now it's not even helping. A little desperation began to set in, but I knew I had to keep taking it, because changes take time. And I continued the experiment.
In week 3, however, I thankfully noticed two things:
1. My scalp became calmer
It was less irritated, less dry, and simply felt more balanced. This was surprising to me because I hadn't expected vitamins to have this effect. I had rather expected to see the changes only in my hair and not on my scalp. But these positive "side effects" are also a beautiful thing :)
2. Slightly less hair in the brush
Another change I observed was quite minimal and nothing spectacular, but still visible: I actually had slightly less hair in my brush after washing it. This was definitely a milestone for me! Especially with fine hair, such a thing is very quickly noticeable.
Nevertheless, I have to say that the "big changes" unfortunately still hadn't appeared. This caused a moment of doubt as to whether the product would do anything at all, but I knew that hair growth takes time, so I persevered and hoped!
Month 2: Finally…the first results were visible!
Hope dies last, as the saying goes, and so it happened after two months: Finally, what I had hoped for at the beginning came to pass:
1. Significantly less hair loss
While showering, I almost had to laugh because I automatically looked for my usual clumps of hair – but, lo and behold, there was much less than usual. There was still some, but far less than before. The joy was clearly written all over my face!
2. My hair felt more manageable
Finally, I also noticed that especially the lengths gained more substance. Before, they would quickly fall flat, now they held their shape longer. The roots also seemed to gain a bit more fullness, leading to a little more volume.
3. Hello baby hairs!
I know it sounds cliché, but I actually found small new hairs at the roots. At first, I thought it was my imagination, but after a few days – especially when I wanted to tie my hair back – it was more than obvious. Slowly but surely, it seemed to be working!
4. Scalp still in top shape
The condition of my scalp also improved steadily: no itching, no dandruff, and no feeling of tightness. Since my scalp can be very dry and sometimes even very painful, I was all the more pleased with these great results!
Slowly, I began to believe: Okay, something is really happening here!
Month 3: The moment of truth!
In the third month, the effect became really clear - but it was about time, wasn't it?! I felt that my hair had "caught up", as it generally felt stronger, more stable and healthier. Here are some detailed impressions of the results after 3 months of taking N°21 GLOW:
- More volume – especially at the roots
- Less breakage at the ends, more shine & smoothness
- Healthy and no more dry scalp
- Hair loss was reduced by at least 40–50% compared to the start
- Overall: I felt better
What didn't happen?
There are always two sides to a coin, and this case is no different: I want to be completely transparent with you, and especially with dietary supplements, I think it's very important to honestly state what didn't happen:
Of course, as I thought at the beginning, no "miracle cure" is to be expected. The quickly hoped-for hair growth thus failed to materialize. Although the hair became generally fuller and more manageable, it did not grow longer than it would have without supplements.
One thing is particularly important to mention here: Anyone expecting an immediate effect should not even start taking it, otherwise it will only end in disappointment. Dietary supplements and their effects take time, and you yourself need a lot of patience. But I can reassure you, because after about 2 months, the first results are minimally visible. The first four weeks should be regarded as a kind of transition phase.
Please note that supplements are also not a magic solution for severe hair loss. I want to emphasize that hair loss can have many – some of them serious – causes. Some of them can be hormonal or due to illness, among other things.
My tips for anyone wanting to test the product
-
Definitely take before-and-after photos
-
Plan for at least 3 months
-
Drink plenty of water
-
Keep your routine consistent
-
Expect realistic results
-
Keep a diary to document initial results as well as pros and cons in detail
My final conclusion
You've probably been waiting for this section throughout the text, and now the time has come: I finally want to share my final impressions with you. Can I recommend the product afterwards or not?
The GLOW hair vitamins actually impressed me. My hair feels stronger, hair loss has noticeably decreased, the structure appears smoother, and new baby hairs are sprouting everywhere, giving my look that subtle, healthy volume. To put it simply: My hair not only looks better, it lives a little more again.
Would I continue taking them? Absolutely. Especially because I feel that with continuous use, my hair grows back stronger and thicker in the long run.
And would I recommend them now? Definitely YES, especially for anyone suffering from mild to moderate hair loss, who has fine or lifeless hair, wants to strengthen their hair structure from within, or generally values natural, vegan products.
However, if you suspect that hormonal or medical reasons could be behind your hair loss, you should definitely seek medical advice first.
All in all, the three-month self-test was an exciting time for me, full of anticipation, impatience, and ultimately, success! I am really glad I stuck with it and wish you - if you also want to try the capsules - much joy and great results! :)
